Rajesh has an extensive experience of over 28 years in valuations, credit evaluation & counterparty
risk management. He has been associated with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in its valuation
& business recovery services practices for over 8½ years. Subsequently, he has consolidated his
experience through his association with CRISIL Ratings (a subsidiary of Standard & Poor’s) for over
4½ years (as Head of Corporate Ratings & Head of Financial Sector Ratings, amongst others), ING
Vysya Bank for over 6½ years (as Regional Head of General Lending & Head of Counterparty Risk),
and Kotak Mahindra Bank for over 6½ years (as Head of Counterparty Risk)
Experience in Valuation Profession
During his association with PwC for over 8½ years, Rajesh has been actively involved in conducting
business & equity valuations, business and financial restructuring, business plan reviews, strategic
options analysis and feasibility studies. He has also performed valuation of loan assets in the context
of a proposed transfer of loans from banks to an asset reconstruction company. The valuations
& business plan reviews have been performed for companies operating across various industries,
including telecommunications, engineering, port terminal, dry cells, FM radio broadcasting business,
pharmaceuticals, and steel, amongst others.
